Lucy's Dance Recital

Lucy is really getting into Dance. In fact, I think this might be her "thing". She absolutely LOVES going to her dance classes each week. She was so excited for her first dance recital, she could hardly stand it. It was so much fun watching her up on that stage. She really is very good, and I can tell that she is having so much fun.

She has made some very nice friends at dance class.

so proud!

I may have to watch a few more epsisodes of my new favorite "guilty pleasure" show Dance Moms. I did a terrible job putting on Lucy's stage make up! Ha ha! Luckily her recital was 2 nights in a row and I did a much better job the second night (I guess I should have taken more pics of the good night).

Lucy, front and center!

Flowers after the show.
(I am having trouble getting past the really bad blush job here! I must have missed this part in Mom school.)

Sam's Baseball Team

Sam has had a great season of baseball this year. He is loving the fact that he is one of the teams 3 pitchers and he also gets to play first base. He gets to see a lot of action during the game and his team is doing really well. They have won most of their games!

Oh yes, and he is a pretty good hitter too!
Go Sam!

Max's 12th Birthday!

Paintball Palace!
Max turned 12 on the last day of school this year.
I am so amazingly thankful for the fun year that I had this year with Max and his awesome class.
I always loved seeing my kids with their friends, but it takes on a whole new meaning when you have also been their teacher.
I will always share a special bond with this group of boys (I mean we spent a whole year together).
They look a little scary in their painball gear!

The last day of 5th grade means the last day of grade school.
Luckily, at O'Hara, we go to 8th grade. So same friends and same school, they will just move one clasrrom down. I literally can't image sending him off to a real middle school next year! Not ready for O'Hara middle school as it is!

I am always amazed that they actually like to shoot each other with paintball guns, but they had a BLAST!

Pancho, of course, was right in there.
...and the boys LOVED shooting Pancho.

I love this guy!
I still can't believe that he is 12 ..... but he sure has grown into such an amazing young man.

Pizza, cupcakes and paintball, a good time was had by all!

Memorial Day Weekend at Seaside

We spent a very fun Memorial Day Weekend in Seaside with Sean, Francine, Will and Annie.  My mom and Dad came over for a day too.  We missed Kevin, Kate and Finn who couldn't come because it was a little too close to Kate's due date :).  We totally lucked out with beautiful weather!

Crazy!  That is some cold water!

We took a hike down to a very nice little cove with a beautiful beach that was't too windy.

My boys (as usual) started a beach football game with their cousin, uncle and dad.  (We seem to start a football game wherever we go lately).

They also seem to always make a few new friends, as there always seems to be a few boys dying to join in the game :) Hence the random children scattered though these football pictures.

Yup!  No clue who the boy is in the middle of this "cousin picture". ha ha !

Cute cousins!

Francine found the perfect house for us at Seaside.  It had 5 bedrooms, a perfect "great room"  and a HUGE three car garage that the kids played soccer and rode their bikes in all weekend.

The beach was only 2 blocks away.

Seaside is such a fun little beach town.  It has cute shops, rides and great food!
Nice hair Max.
