The Best Memorial Day Weekend!!!!

OK this is the longest post ever, there are a ton of pictures, but I just wanted them all . . .so just act like you looked at them all!

We had so much fun this weekend in Seattle visiting my brothers.

On Saturday, we went with my brother Sean's family and My cousin Jody's family to the zoo. The kids loved it (except for the MAJOR fight that Max and Sam got in, they ended up spending about 1/2 hour in the van with Pancho) We had so much fun, which is why I felt the need to put about 25 pictures of it on my blog!

After the boys got back from a time out in the van for fighting
trying to look happy
Max is a little better at this apparently

My kids have a favorite places to visit list . . .

1. Disneyland
2. Hawaii (just moved up to number 2 after our trip there
3. Jack and Michelle's House

We always have so much fun at Lake Sawyer, we are so lucky to be able to spend holidays at my Aunt and Uncles beautiful home on a gorgeous lake!

Lucy just LOVES fishing . . . that cracks me up!

Maybe Kate won't put a side view shot on her Blog . . . but I will!
Kate is due June 10th!
I am such a nice sister-in-law, first the bikini picture in Hawaii and now this!
I am just jealous, I never looked this cute when I was pregnant.

Max and Kyla coming back from "tubing".

My sister in law Kate and brother Kevin
very soon to be first time parents!

Uncle Jeff, helping Max and Lucy bring in the fish they caught together.

Around the campfire listening to Pancho's "speech" about Memorial Day!
(He was actually pretty serious, only cracked us up once when he started quoting bumper stickers)

We were so sad to have to leave on Monday, but did have time to take the kids to the park really quick for one last fun outing together before we left!

My Nephew Will (5)

My Niece Annie (almost 3)
she loves to dress herself and changes her clothes about 5 times a day!
I think she has a future in fashion!

Mothers Day!

I had an awesome Mothers Day! It all started with breakfast in bed from the kids. Then we were off to church at St. Mary's. Next we headed over to Grammy and Papa's house where Pancho and Dad made us an excellent breakfast. Finally, the guys took the kids to the Science Factory and the Book Store so that Mom and I could do a little shopping at TJMaxx. So fun!

Pancho and the kids gave me these two gorgeous hanging baskets!

Grammy loved her home-made cards from the kids!

My Beautiful Mom and Me!

I am a VERY lucky Mom!!!!!!

Soccer Parties and Birthday Parties!

Max's end of the season soccer party was Saturday at Putters. His team went undefeated this season. Max and two of his buddies from OHara joined the St. Paul team this year for Spring Soccer. I have been trying to talk him into playing soccer next fall, but he seams pretty set on trying tackle football. I'm not sure if I am ready for this . . .

they love playing at Putters!

Before Putters, but after the Style Show, Lucy and I went to Emma's Birthday Party. It was a Build-a-Bear party at St. Mary's. It is so much fun to see Lucy with the girls from her class, because these are the girls she will most likely grow up with. So cute!
Lucy and Lauren with the animals that they made.
Our friend Mike actually has a business where he brings Build-a-Bear to you!

Style Shoe 2009

My two "Stephanie Friends" (Stephanie Hoffman and Stephanie Riley) invited Lucy and I to a Style Show and Tea at their church on Saturday morning. It was so nice to sit with these super ladies and enjoy some tea and watch the fashion show. The show was adorable with styles from the 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's. My good friend (and former neighbor) Stacey Ransom was one of the speakers. It is always inspiring to hear her story. The only downside to the whole morning was that Lucy and I had to leave early to get to a birthday party, so I didn't get as much time to chat with these good friends as I would have liked. I guess I will just have to look forward to the next time we get together.
Thank You again Stephanies!!!

Who knew there were so many Stephanies?

Lucy's Mothers Day Celebration!

The Pre-K at OHara has a long standing tradition. Every year at Mothers Day, they invite the Mothers to come to the classroom for a celebration. It is one of my favorite things EVER!!! Lucy has been soooo excited about it for weeks. When I got there, she gave me a BIG hug and said "I LOVE you so much MOM", then she took me to my seat which had a place mat and card, made for me, by her. Then she went back up to the front with her class where they sang us a song. Then the boys and girls paired up for a little Ball Room dancing. Lucy and Ethan were matched up together, it was ADORABLE!!! Then she held up a picture that she drew of me while the teacher read a bunch of nice things that she said about me!

Lucy holding up a picture that she drew of me. I love my hair and rainbow stripped outfit!

Lucy and Ethan . . . perfect dancing partners!

Lucy had just given me the paper flower corsage that she made for me!

What Lucy said about me . . .

My mom is special because . . . she loves me so much.
I like it when my mom . . . kisses me all of the time.
My mom can do many things. I think she's best at . . .making me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
My mom has a pretty smile! I like to make her smile by . . . giving her lots of hugs and kisses.
My mom is as pretty as a . . . pretty house.
My mom is smart, She even knows how to . . . drive a car really good!

Gotta love it when you are as pretty as a house!
