Max's Championship Football Team gets honored at the Spring Game!

Max and Sam got to play football on the real turf in the Mashofsky Center.

He loved the rain!

It looked like an actual monsoon was coming through at one point,

people went running for cover!

Typical for Oregon though, a half an hour later it was sunny when they announced Max's undefeated flag football team out on the field.

You can see Max at the bottom of this picture in his Ducks uniform.

They honored the winning team from each age group.

Max's football coach called us this week to tell us that the UofO football players wanted to invite Max's flag football team to the Spring Game and honor them for winning the championship in their age bracket. Max was so excited and so were we. He had a soccer game in the morning and then we rushed over to Autzen. They called the kids out on the field between the 1st and 2nd quarter, and announced their names and their teams undefeated record. It was pretty cool! We all had fun watching the game too. Luckily my aunt Kim got us great seats in the club area undercover and out of the rain. What a fun day!
