Houseboating on Lake Billy Chinook!

Two years ago we bought a 4 day house boating trip with our good friends the McCarthy's and the Bells at the O'Hara Auction. It has taken us this long to find a weekend that all three families could go, but we finally did it! We had such a fun time with only a little sickness (Lucy had "the barfies" one night) All in all it was a great time with great friends.
Kevin and Amy McCarthy have two boys Brendan (9) and Colin (6)
Dan and Kelli Bell have two boys Griffith (9) and Sammy (6)

Me, Amy and Kelli
cracking open our first cocktail on the Houseboat!

The kids took some breaks from the sun to play games.
Brendan, Sammy, Max, Sam and Griff

We were so glad that we brought the boat, the kids had a blast going for rides on the "tube".

. . .another nightly card game!

Pancho and Amy . . . I'm scared of this picture :)

There was a slide off the back of the Houseboat.
The kids must have gone down it about 100 times or more.
The parents even tried it out a few times too!
I love this picture of Sam coming off the slide!

The kids did a lot of fishing too,
Unfortunately (or fortunately) no one actually caught anything

Isn't the Hot tub on top of the Houseboat beautiful?

It got a lot of use!
Lucy, Max and Brendan (Amy and Kevins oldest)

Max, Sam and Brendan on the "tube"

Pancho and Lulu having a heart to heart.
Lucy was the only girl with 6 boys!!!

Kelli and I took a spin too!

Max got all wrapped up in the floaties.

Pancho and Dan took turns taking the kids out for rides on the tube!

The scenery was gorgeous . . .I loved this waterfall.

The top of the boat had a BBQ, Hot tub and Bar!

. . . taking a break from swimming to watch some toons!

Disneyland 2009

Where do I start?
I took over 300 pictures of our awesome vacation!
I wont bore you with all of them, but here are a few hightlights.

My best friend from college, Liz, and I hatched this plan to make a budget trip to Disneyland. Here is the "before" picture as we are loading my parents van (we borrowed it) to drive 17 hours to "The Happiest Place on Earth"!

Pancho had to work in Southern California anyway, so he flew down (I know, for once he is the smart one :) He brought Max with him on the plane, and Doug, Liz, Ellie, Jack, Sam, Lucy and I drove down together.
It's "red" day, but appparently Max is too cool for the matching shirt thing!

Me and Liz

Pancho bought ears for all of the kids.

Lucy fulfilled a dream of hers (and mine) when she met all of the Disney princesses and got her own "Princess Belle" dress.
I love girly-girl stuff!!!!!

Legoland too!!!

Group shot in front of Legoland.
This was the only day that we had overcast weather, but it worked to our advantage, because there were so few people there.

The kids got soaked in the water park area.

Lucy and lego spongebob, there were so many amazing creations made out of Legos there!!!

There is also a new section called Sea Life.
It was so cool. The kids had a great time looking at all of the sea creatures mixed with Lego creations.

Pancho being attacked by a Lego Polar Bear!

Fulton Family Mini-Reunion!

We felt very lucky that most of the Fultons were able to meet at Sulie and Joseph's house for an impromptu family reunion. We didn't give them much notice or time to work around our schedule, but almost everyone made it anyway! We were missing Pancho's sister Joy who lives in Texas. It was so great to see everyone who made it though!
Castle Grandma & and Grandpa Joe with the kids.

Feeding the Koi fish in Grandma's beautiful backyard.

Swimming in the hot tub.
The kids also got in the big pool which has been converted to a HUGE Koi Pond and swam with the fish!

Aunt Kathy (Pancho's sister) was so nice to let us all stay at her house in Riverside.
Fabian and Melissa actually braved Disneyland with us for a day!
It was so much fun to spend time with all of them!

Pancho with his brothers (Rob & Dennis), sisters (Kathy & Becky), mom, step dad, niece (Megan) and nephew (Michael)

Oh Wow! I got a picture to work!

My adorable new nephew Finn!

I am an AUNTIE!!!!! (again)

My brother Kevin and my sister in law Kate had their first baby today! I have been trying for about 1/2 hour to get the pictures that they emailed to me, to go on to my BLOG, but I am giving up!!! So instead, here is the info they sent us!

Finn Morzenti Murray arrived at 6:45 AM on Sunday, June 14th, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches in length. Both mom and baby are doing well and we're already adjusting to our new life as a three-person family! We'll have blog updates soon -- stay tuned!

Love,
Kevin, Kate & Finn

I am going to keep checking their Blog for more pictures, I am so sad that I am not closer to Seattle, so I could go see him for myself! We will see him soon enough as we always go up there for the 4th of July. I can't wait!

Stayed tuned . . . my next few Blog posts will be from Disneyland!!!! We leave the day after tomorrow for a one week trip to D-land and Legoland!

Max's 10th Birthday!!!

The Whole Gang
Ben, Spencer, Cade, Max and Connor

There was a lot of goofing around!
Boys this age are so funny to me, I guess that I had better get used to it though,
This is about the age that I will be teaching next year!

Max, blowing out the candles on his ice cream cake at Papa's Pizza.

Opening presents. . .
10 year old boys are very hard to buy for, so he ended up getting a lot of gift cards and ca$h (which he LOVED)
Grammy and Papa gave him 2 DS games and we gave him 1.

Then we went Bowling!
Go Ben!

Lucy and I hanging out at the Bowling Alley watching those crazy Boys!

This was a group shot, they all worked together to get the ball down the lane.

Group Photo of the Bowlers!

Connor, Max and Spencer

Ben, Max and Cade
After Bowling we went to Putters to play games.
Max won 800 tickets on one game, so he shared them with all of his friends (even his brother) and let everyone pick out a prize . . . so cute!

O'Hara Field Day/Last Day of School!

O'Hara always has Field Day on the Last Day of School.
It is always a lot of fun to watch the kids go from activity to activity around the Field.
I can't believe that this year is over, it went by so fast!
Calder, Max, Jaren and Claire B.
The winning team!

Connor, Max and Brendan

Lucy "does NOT like to RUN!" so field day is not her favorite day of the year.
(I wonder where she gets that from?)

Max's class had a Blast throwing balls about 30 ft in the air with the parachute.

Max and Jaren were partners in the three legged race.

Lucy and Mrs. Demers . . . her wonderful Pre-K teacher.

Lucy and Mrs. Foerster
. . . Mrs. Foerster is the aide and other teacher in her class
Lucy absolutely adored both of her teachers this year and she will miss them both.

Max had a great 3rd grade year with Mrs. Tendick.
I love it that she posed with him like this, she knows my boy well
He is not a Big Hugger!
