Sports Update . . .

All three kids are involved in sports right now, so this is just a little update.

Lucy had another gymnatics meet today.

She is really loving gymnastics, and she really good at it too!

Lucy was so excited to get her second gymnastics trophy. 

Notice that she is the only one wearing a skort and teeshirt!  I keep asking her if she wants a leotard (is that what they are called now?) but she is categorically against them.  She is funny, because she likes the girly stuff, but she doesn't like dressing up in princess dresses or anything too girly.

Now on to baseball . . .

Max is playing baseball on a team with Ben and many of his other St. Paul friends.

He is really fast, so baseball comes fairly easy for him.

Sam is playing baseball too!

He is absolutely loving it! 

Sam is the type of person who either loves something or despises it. . . and he certainly lets us all know how he feels! 

It has been such a bummer so far this season, we have had quite a few rainouts.

He was so excited when he finally got to play a game!

Oregon has had the rainiest spring that we have ever had!

These are some of the devoted parents sitting through a heavy rainstorm, but the kids played on.

I actually sat through Max's 5:15 game and then Sam's 7:15 game still in my work clothes, huddled under a borrowed umbrella, being pelted by sideways rain . . . good times!
