My brother Sean, his wife Francine and their kids Will and Annie came down from Seattle for the opening of Duck football season. They brought their good friends Tom and Debbie with their twin boys Leo and Hayes. It was fun to have a houseful of people this weekend, especially with all of the excitement for the BIG GAME!
Lucy, Max, Annie, Will, and Sam
All dressed in their Oregon gear and ready to go to the Game.
. . . a little trampoline jumping!
. . . a couple of adorable cheerleaders.
My Dad and my Brother
My Dad's birthday is on September 4th. He is a huge Oregon Duck Football Fan, so it is very convenient that his birthday often falls on or near the first game of the season. My Mom always organizes a big tailgate party so we can all celebrate with my Dad. My parents have had season tickets for over 30 years!
My Mom made her famous "from scratch" cupcakes.
Lucy helped her make them this time, and couldn't wait to have one!
Teesh, Christy, Me, Amie and Laurie
Chris, Pancho, Mike and Donnie
. . . a shot of the tailgate party.
Nicky and Natalie bought some hip glasses at the Duck Store!
So cute!

It was a fun crowd!
Pancho and I were so excited for another season of Football at Autzen Stadium!
The kids all started their own game of football on the grass in the parking lot before the game.
It sure was a fun tailgate party, and the excitement was certainly there, but I am very spoiled to say that the Ducks 72 - 0 win over New Mexico made the day a little bit anticlimatic. After the Ducks scored 35 points in the first quarter, the excitement kind of dwindled. Our solution? Keep the Party going, head back to the house, and watch the Oregon State Beavers on TV!
It was a great day of football!

Thanks for having us at the tailgater! We had a great time!
