Murray Girls Spa Weekend!

This trip could not have come at a better time!

I had spent the night before sleeping on an air mattress on the floor of a museum (see next post).  I had never needed a massage more!  My mom had been wanting to plan a "girls weekend" with her daughter/daughter in laws for a long time.  I helped her plan this fabulous spa weekend  at Avalon Hotel and Spa in Portland.  Francine, Kate and I could not thank my mom enough.  It was so relaxing and fun!

I don't think that there is a better gift that you could give busy Moms.

After our spa treatments, we spent the afternoon shopping in downtown Portland.

(Kate is due in almost exactly 2 months with a little girl!)

Because we don't have a Nordtsroms in Eugene, being here makes Mom and I so happy!

We went out for a very nice dinner at the restaurant, next to the Hotel, right on the waterfront in Johns Landing.

 I am so lucky that my brothers married such amazing, beautiful and fun women!

I think I have a pretty beautiful Mom too!

She is also very giving to host this perfect weekend for us girls.  Shopping, restaurants, spa treatments and lots of laughs. Thank you Mom!  . . .and thank you Kate and Francine for coming down from Seattle!
