We got a note from Sam's school last week that he was being awarded the Star Student Award at his school!
Pancho and I were so happy and proud. They give this award to kids who are a good example to other students by exhibiting excellent behavior and very good grades. I decided to take the day off so that I could be at the assembly. It was so much fun to see Sammy get such a positive affirmation. He is doing so well at his school and he deserves a lot of credit for his hard work.

They give this award to two or three kids from each grade level.
