Old Friends and New!
We invited some friends over to celebrate New Years Eve at our house.
My favorite way to ring in the New Year is with good friends, good food & seeing my kids having fun with their friends. The Hakalas and Dacars came over to party the night away with us! We also invites the Parson Family this year. They are new to Eugene and their son Dylan is in my class and has become good friends with Max. They fit in great and we all had a fun night!
I am so lucky to have such great Best Friends!

These two were so much fun and their kids had a blast running through the house with all of our kids.
Their family was a great addition to the regular crowd.
Lucy (at the 9:00 New Year)
She was sound asleep by 10:00!
These kids played video games much of the night, interspersed with quick trips out to the trampoline. They would come back in the house freezing cold!
The older kids, along with Devon and Dylan (Sharyn and Shane's daughter and son) played cards much of the night. Their game of spoons got pretty wild.

Yes, this was the REAL New Year at midnight.
We actually let them stay up to to ring in the new year for real this year.
There was a lot of excitement!

I can't believe they all stayed up with so much energy. At least we old folks were able to stay awake too!
