Merry Christmas!

Pancho and I always set an alarm on Christmas Eve for the kids.  This year we set it for 7:30am and told them that they could  come and wake us up when the alarm went off.  It works great for us!  Lucy and Sam told us that they had been up for about 2 hours (it probably wasn't really that long) taking, giggling and waiting in excited anticipation for Christmas morning to begin.  As soon as that alarm went off, they came running in our room and jumped on our bed!  Then I go downstairs and get the video camera out so I can get their reactions on film as they see the presents for the first time!  So fun!

This picture was taken after that had already opened about half of their presents.
Can you say "spoiled"?
I do feel so thankful though, that we can make Christmas so fun and exciting for our kids.

The first thing we do is open stockings.
Sam is holding his Pittsburg Steelers ornament!

Lucy has a "Lucy" from Charlie Brown ornament.

Max was thrilled to get an itunes gift card and a Borders gift card.

Pancho (looking really tired) holding Sam's Pokemon cards ha ha!

Lucy loves her pillow pets!

Sam was so excited and so appreciative of everything he got for Christmas.

All in all it was another fun Christmas morning with the kids.  I cherish each year a little more as I realize how fast my kids are growing up and how few of these days I have left with them.  I love the excitement and anticipation of a visit from Santa!
