We had such a great Christmas this year!!!!
The morning started off at about 8:00am when the kids came running in to wake us up. We all ran downstairs to see what Santa had brought. Sam was so excited about his new scooter!
After he opened all of his presents, Sam took his new scooter outside and rode it up and down our street for 2 hours straight! We had to practically drag him back inside!
Max got a brand new basketball hoop!
He also got lots of legos and video games.
Lulu was very excited about Beach Party Barbie
(who wouldn't be?)
It was so fun to watch her reaction every time she opened a present. She got so excited about each one, and she was so sweet and thankful for everything!
Grammy taught Lucy how to sew.
She got a kit that had everything she needed to sew a purse.
Lucy also got a lot of princess make-up and nail polish.
It didn't take much convincing to get her Dad to paint her nails.
She thought it was so funny to paint his too!
I wish that I would have gotten more pics of the boys, but they were so happy to be outside playing with their new basketball hoop and scooter, that I hardly saw them!
Later in the afternoon, our good friends the Dacars, joined us and Grammy and Papa for Christmas dinner.
This is a pic of the kids table, a toast to Christmas!
The Fultons
The Dacars
Later in the evening, the Hakalas came over too!
Lucy was so sad that she did not get picked to be Mary in the St. Paul Nativity at Mass, that I told her that we would have our own at our house! We found costumes for all of the kids and Natalie read from the Bible.
Mary, Joseph (Oregon Fan) and Baby Jesus
The Three Kings
(notice Jack is wearing a Chuck E. Cheese crown and bringing Baby Jesus a bowling pin)
The Whole Cast
Ethan was a Shepherd, and Ellie was the Angel Gabriel
One last pick of Joseph and Mary in the cardboard manger scene that Max built out of his basketball hoop box . . . pretty creative I think!
Lucy took this all VERY seriously, she was really feeling her part.
Sam looks pretty reverant in this picture too!

Julie, I always looked up to you as my cool older cousin now I look up to you as an amazing mother. You are so creative and fun with your kids. They are so lucky to have you. We missed you guys this year. xoxo
