I have a picture of my kids visiting Santa from each year since they were born. Every year when the Christmas Decorations come out, so do the Santa pictures. I have them hanging in order, by year, on a Christmas ribbon that hangs in our family room.
I knew the year would come . . .
When the pictures came out this year, Lucy and Sam asked excitedly "When can we go visit Santa?".
Max said, "You aren't going to make me visit Santa this year are you?"
WHAT?!?
WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO GO VISIT SANTA?????
Of course we made him go, just as we will every year from here on out!

Is it wrong to get a tiny bit of enjoyment out of embarrassing your children?
The answer is no, it is not wrong to get enjoyment out of embarrassing your children. In fact it is one of the added perks of motherhood. We have to have some payout for all the hard work!!!
